Nate Westre is a small business marketing strategist based in Stuart, Iowa, and the founder of Marketing Main Street, a marketing agency serving rural Iowa businesses with web design, search engine optimization, social media, video, and AI integration.
Before founding Marketing Main Street in 2021, Nate spent a decade owning and operating Ruby's Pub in Stuart (2007 to 2017), then moved into corporate marketing as VP of Sales and Marketing at Des Moines agency Nexus 6, with prior consulting and business development roles at MMIT Business Solutions Group. The pattern he saw across those years became Marketing Main Street's founding insight: rural small businesses were overpaying for bloated agency overhead and getting marketing built for big budgets, not for main-street economics.
